There are no words to describe how hurt, disgusted and humiliated I feel after watching this video. Meant to highlight the issue of Female Genital Mutilation, the cake was designed to be cut starting from the clitoris.

On most of the local news channels tonight there was a new “OBESITY IN WOMEN LEADS TO AUSTIM” freak-out. “These two epidemics could be linked together, as 1 in 88 children born are autistic. We’re looking for a cure for this disease.”
Why, local news station. Also, it had the always horrible pan of obese people with no faces because CLEARLY they have no worth as a person and should be filmed without their consent. Sigh.
It will probably end up just another way to shame women into not having children and lead to more false information about autism.
